Wedding Hair Appointment Tips

By Dennis E. Price

Each bride has a huge to do list before her wedding day. One thing on the list is hair and what style to go for to suit her wedding gown. Selecting a brilliant stylist should be number one in your list. The next thing to do on your list is to try and figure out a hair style that you like.

Finding the correct hair stylist to fix your wedding hair is crucial for your appearance. This is not the day to start fixing your own hair style. The key is to find a hairdresser who has the same train of though as you and will be in tune with your decisions. The following advice will help you in the decision process.

Some brides may have known their hair dresser for a long time. This will make choosing a style easier as they know you and your tastes. More importantly they will know your hair and you trust them not to make a mess of things.

Any bride who is getting married away from home will find this decision hard. They will not know any of the hairdressing salons in the area. Perhaps a family member cuts your hair for free normally but you don't want them styling your wedding hair.

This is not the time to take chances with your hair as the day can not be repeated.

One tip would be to ask a wedding guest if they can recommend a wedding stylist. Ask your family members and work colleagues if they have been to a wedding recently and would recommend a hairdresser. Check out any photo shoots you can and perhaps try a dummy run before your day arrives.

One thing to remember is that stylists may only wish to stick to one part of the hairdressing side of things such as cutting or perming. They may not wish to be involved with brides and their hair dos.

Brides may find themselves with a different member of staff who may not be as experienced as your own stylist making you feel uncomfortable. Remember and check over with your own stylist about your wedding hair and not assume that she can automatically style your hair.
